On October 8th, GlobalMedic conducted an outdoor Search and Rescue field exercise at the Pickering Cliffs. This was an advanced course for SAR trained volunteers which reviewed SAR 1 and 2 principles and techniques including lowering and self-rescue, in addition to the introduction of advanced hauling systems. The training was a great success and included various field scenarios to prepare trainees for future deployments. Thanks to all who attended and to our master trainer Tim Standley for facilitating the day.
