On February 22nd , 2008, water purification tablets and essential medicines donated by GlobalMedic and shipped from Canada , arrived in the Gaza strip for distribution. These humanitarian goods have been distributed into local hospitals, clinics and institutions to aid victims of the ongoing conflict. GlobalMedic, in association with on ground partner Muslim Aid UK, have delivered over 297,000 tablets of essential medicines and 2.1 million life saving water purification tablets.
